纽约市发布电梯违规行为搜索门户

6月17日，纽约市房屋管理部门（Department of Buildings）计划发布一款新的电梯违规行为搜索门户。该搜索门户名称为“DoB NOW: Safety”，可供群众搜索建筑物内有关的电梯违规行为及违规处罚记录。自6月17日起，未按期申报的罚款和豁免申请都必须通过该门户进行办理。同时，房屋管理部门电梯部门不再受理电邮申请或者寄送的纸质表格或申请，包括民事罚款表格和电梯违规行为搜索申请等。

ELEVATOR VIOLATION SEARCH PORTAL TO BE LAUNCHED IN NYC

The NYC Department of Buildings (DoB) plans to launch a new “Elevator Violations” portal on June 17. Called “DoB NOW: Safety,” the portal will allow the public to search for elevator violations at properties, as well as fines owed for violations. Several failure-to-file payments and requests for waivers must, as of June 17, be made through the portal. Forms and research requests, such as Cashier Civil Penalty forms and elevator violation research requests, can no longer be emailed or delivered in person to the DoB’s Elevator Unit.
