台湾地区电梯供应商新冠疫情期间表示持有谨慎乐观态度

据台北时报报道，尽管第一季度利润相比去年同期小幅下降，台湾地区最大的电梯供应商之一Golden Friends公司仍对第二季度的业务情况持有谨慎乐观的态度。该公司称台湾地区的高层建筑不断增加，保证了市场对新电梯业务的需求，而电梯维护、维修和更换业务也有望继续维持稳定，因此它“在新冠肺炎疫情期间继续对产品组合进行优化”。在第一季度，该公司完成了超过100台电梯的更换业务和10000台电梯的维修业务，且该公司在第二季度将有包括台湾中国医药大学和国立台湾大学医院的有关项目。

TAIWANESE VT SUPPLIER CAUTIOUSLY OPTIMISTIC AMID COVID-19

Golden Friends Corp., one of Taiwan’s largest suppliers of vertical-transportation (VT) equipment, says it is cautiously optimistic about business in the second quarter, despite seeing a slight first-quarter profit drop compared to last year, Taipei Times reports. Construction of high-rise buildings in Taiwan promises to generate new elevator business, while maintenance, repair and replacement are expected to hold steady, the company says, adding it is “continuing to optimize its product mix amid the COVID-19 pandemic.” During the first quarter, Golden Friends replaced more than 100 and repaired more than 10,000 elevators. Notable projects this quarter include the China Medical University in Taichung and National Taiwan University Hospital in Taipei.
