网上的一则视频，拍下了美国佛罗里达州坦帕市一座公寓里，一名医生在危急时刻救下由于牵绳被电梯夹住而遭遇生命危险的小狗。2019年12月29日当晚，奥林帕斯海港岛公寓的监控录像显示穆罕默德正在大堂里走着，正巧看到一只小狗的牵绳被电梯门夹住，带着小狗往上拖，小狗即将窒息。一旁的女主人慌张之中想解开牵绳抢救小狗。一旁的穆罕默德冲上前去帮忙救下小狗。在视频后续的评论中，穆罕默德称他本来找不到可以松开牵绳的地方，所以他决定“放手一搏，又跳起来，最后终于摸到松开牵绳的地方，于是小狗在最后一两秒得以逃脱”。画面中，小狗从牵绳中跳到地上后跑向大堂。12月初，休斯顿也发生了类似事件，一名男子救下了一只没跟上主人走进电梯而险些丧命的小狗。

TAMPA DOCTOR SAVES DOG WITH LEASH CAUGHT IN ELEVATOR

Video shows a doctor in Tampa rescuing a dog that had its leash caught in an apartment building elevator, multiple news outlets, including the New York Post, report. Mohammed Awad is seen on security camera footage walking into the lobby of the Olympus Harbor Island Apartments on December 29, 2019, just as the dog’s leash gets caught in the closing elevator doors. The dog is yanked up by the collar and begins choking as a frantic woman tries to free her pet. Awad then rushes to help the woman and is able to get the dog free. In comments later, Awad said he could not initially get the dog's collar loose, so he decided to "give it everything I had. I jumped up again, and I basically, last minute, got it. The dog basically had one or two seconds left.” The dog is seen dropping to the floor and running off inside the lobby. A similar incident was captured on video earlier in December, when a man in Houston rescued a dog that had not followed its owner into an elevator.
