4-YEAR-OLD HOSPITALIZED AS A RESULT OF ESCALATOR MISHAP
A 4-year-old girl was hospitalized after one of her hands became stuck in an escalator at a shopping mall in the Mission Valley area of San Diego on November 17, The San Diego Union-Tribune reports. Firefighters from the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department arrived on the scene at approximately 4:30 p.m. and freed the child, who was transported to a children’s hospital as a “high-priority trauma patient.” The extent of her injuries was not immediately known.
