OEM’S ELEVATOR, ESCALATOR DIVISION MARKS 35 YEARS
Mitsubishi Electric U.S., Inc.’s Elevator and Escalator Division, headquartered in Cypress, California, is celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2020. In marking the milestone, the OEM reflected on some of its accomplishments, including being the first to manufacture and install a spiral escalator in 1988. There are now 18 Mitsubishi Electric spiral escalators throughout the U.S. Mitsubishi Electric observes its units average fewer than one callback per year. In addition to California, the division has offices in Nevada; Washington; Washington, D.C.; Hawaii; Texas; Illinois; Massachusetts and Florida.
