据报道，在马来西亚吉隆坡蕉赖区，一名50岁左右的男子从电梯井道坠落身亡，目前仍未能确定其坠落高度。在9月2日清晨，警方接到某公共住房建筑人员的报警，到场时发现该名男子躺在电梯轿厢顶部，面朝下，已经离世。该名男子显然是当地的居民。警长称该建筑的电梯维修服务公司曾收到过关于电梯停驶的投诉。目前该男子已被送到当地医院进行尸检。
ELEVATOR SHAFT FALL FATAL FOR MAN IN KUALA LUMPUR
A fall from an undetermined height down an elevator shaft in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, was fatal for a 50-year-old man, The Star reports. Police responded to a public-housing complex in the early morning hours of September 2 and found the man — apparently a resident — deceased, face down on top of a lift car. The police chief said the complex’s elevator-maintenance provider had received complaints of an elevator not working. The man’s remains were transported to a local hospital for an autopsy.
