据报道，印度一名16岁的数学及物理学学生穆罕默德奥马尔罕（Mohammed Omar Khan）发明了一款无接触电梯按键APP，以防止新冠病毒肺炎疫情的传播。该款APP安装在他亲戚家里，通过物联网系统，这款APP“稳定耐用，可以轻松地安装在任意的电梯设备上”。就像其他大的电梯制造商一样，这款APP让使用者通过智能手机操控电梯，而不用使用按键，适用于公寓、办公楼、商场及别墅钟的电梯设备。该学生已获得国内和邦内的多项奖项，他说希望可以成为已故的印度航天科学家及政治家A.P.J.阿卜杜勒卡拉姆那样的人。
INDIAN TEEN INVENTS TOUCH-FREE ELEVATOR BUTTON APP
Mohammed Omar Khan, a 16-year-old math and physics student in India, invented his own touch-free elevator button app aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19, The Siasat Daily report. Installed at his relatives’ house, the Internet of Things-based app “is robust and can be installed in any elevator easily.” Like those provided by the big OEMs, the app allows users to operate elevators from their smartphones without touching buttons, and can be used in units serving apartments, offices, malls and single-family homes. Khan has received several state and national awards. He says he aims to follow in the footsteps of the late Indian aerospace scientist and politician A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
