加拿大电梯承包商协会近日宣布电梯及自动扶梯安全基金会加拿大分会符合作为在加拿大运营的公益慈善机构的所有条件，且即日生效。该基金会致力于面向四、五年级的儿童开展电梯及自动扶梯安全教育。执行董事Alison Whitaker称自己在该基金会的使命就是通过数字化拷贝和硬拷贝，把基金会的工作带回到加拿大的儿童教室当中。
EESFC QUALIFIES AS CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION IN CANADA
The Canadian Elevator Contractors Association recently announced that the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation of Canada (EESFC) has completed all requirements to be active as a charitable foundation operating in Canada, effective immediately. The Foundation will work to educate children in fourth and fifth grades about elevator and escalator safety. Executive Director Alison Whitaker says her mission for EESFC is “to get the Foundation back into the classrooms of the kids across Canada in digital and hard copies.”
