据午间网报道，印度孟买的吉夏瓦利火车站将为年长者安装自动扶梯，距离上次申请已经过了五年。该站的两条较高的两台人行天桥的西边将安装自动扶梯。由于自动扶梯位于大孟买地区市政委员会，七月才批准实施，加上季风天气又停工了一段时间，进程一直很慢。西部铁路公司称目前所有障碍都已经清除，工程将很快完工。
MUMBAI SENIORS GET RAILWAY ESCALATORS AFTER FIVE YEARS
Senior citizens in Mumbai are getting escalators installed at the Jogeshwari railway station after five years of asking, mid-day reports. Two foot overbridges at the station, which were higher than previous ones, will get escalators on the west side. Progress on the issue has been slow, because the area where the escalators will end belongs to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corp. (BMC). BMC approved the project back in July, but work was at a standstill because of monsoon season. Western Railways says work will soon begin on the escalators now that all hurdles have been cleared.
